Due to the success of our Combo program in the past, we have decided to offer it again.  The Combo program involves the playing of popular songs, as a band, consisting of vocals, keyboards, synthesizers, drums, guitar and bass.  We feel the student would benefit from this course as follows:

1) develop rhythm and ear training;

2) teaching students to improvise properly (playing rhythmic and
melodic passages to enhance (fill) the song);

3) experience playing along with other types of instruments as
well as vocals;

4) enjoyment from playing popular music in a band setting;

5) experience performing in front of an audience.

The course will commence the week of February 11, 2024.  Our
Combo groups will compete at BandFest 2024 to be held at the Warehouse Concert Hall (11 Geneva St., downtown St. Catharines) on Sunday April 21st.

Students will be put together in groups of 4 to 6 based on their ages / levels.

The student will receive ten one hour Combo lessons, for a fee of $200.00 (no taxes) payable in advance, or two payments of $110.00 (no taxes) each February 11 and March 17) may be made. This payment includes the entry fee of $40.00 into the festival and entitles the student to participate in one other category other than combo.

Make sure to register early as, due to limited space and time, we are setting up the program on a first come, first serve basis.
